The Design Consultation
Before your flowers ever touch the drying studio, we sit down together for a personalized consultation. I will learn all about your wedding/event, and how you want to see your memories displayed. Together, we collaborate on a custom design layout specifically tailored to your functional keepsake pieces.
Delicate Deconstruction & Silica Drying
Next, I take your bouquet apart stem by stem. I submerge your blooms in fine silica gel—a slow, patient, and meticulous art form that gently draws out every drop of moisture while locking in the true, vibrant shape and color of each petal.
Custom Casting & Curing
Once your flowers are perfectly dried, I carefully arrange them by hand into your chosen pieces—whether that is a stunning, functional tray or a set of everyday coasters. I pour crystal-clear resin in careful layers to catch every angle, ensuring a bubble-free, glass-like finish. Because resin requires precise curing times between layers, this phase cannot be rushed.
The Final Polish & Quality Check
Before your heirloom leaves my hands, every piece goes through a rigorous final inspection. I hand-sand, buff, and polish the edges of your trays and coasters to a flawless finish, ensuring it is ready to be used and loved in your home.
